Dental DAS Group works in cooperation with a nonprofit organization, Todos Juntos, which runs a project entitled “Project Sonrisa.” Dental DAS Group, in assistance to the function of this project, has donated a dental chair to one of their centers.
Due to poor nutrition and lack of education many young people from poverty stricken areas in Argentina suffer from missing teeth, tooth pain, or abscesses, and this only gets worse with age. Project Sonrisa, since 2005, seeks to provide a solution to this epidemic through education and treatment, in two phases. The first phase involved going out in the field and educating young people about proper oral hygiene through dental hygiene sessions, and in the second phase through the operation of dental clinics that offer free services to children.
