When teeth are stained; or when there is localized or generalized discoloration that is present, we have techniques at our disposal to improve the color of the teeth without causing any damage to their structure.

There are two procedures available. One is power bleaching, which takes one hour. We use a laser-activated gel that liberates oxygen. These reactions remove the stains. This is very safe for the enamel, and does not alter the infrastructure.

The second technique we use is progressive bleaching, which is best for people with sensitive teeth. Individual trays are made, and the patient should use their personalized trays with a whitening gel during the night for a duration of approximately two weeks.

If the stains are very deep, then it is best to use a combination of both techniques.
